Here at Cash for Junk Autos NJ we are very dedicated to animal rescue. As you may know from reading our blogs, we currently have three rescue animals at our location, and others at our personal homes.

Recently, one of our dispatchers, Kimberly of Junk Cars For Cash, rescued a 6 month old, orange tabby kitten named Heathcliff. Heathcliff was sleeping in a bush down in Newark when he ran up to Kimberly and started playing. We took Heathcliff to the vet, got him neutered and all his vaccines. He is 100% healthy and simply adorable. All he was looking for was love and affection, and some yummy turkey to nibble on. Kimberly fostered him at her home, with the hopes of keeping him permanently. As you can see in the picture, Smooshy, her 6year-old cat was not exactly thrilled by the new kitten’s presence. She is the Diva of the house!

Heathcliff has since been moved to a new foster home that does not have any other cats. He is also currently up for adoption through an organization called JerseyCats.
